13th May 2009 Got to love Geoff's for cheap, funny, creative costumes. It's always the first place I go to when I need a costume for a party or fance routine and it's also great for low-cost fabric too. Staff are helpful too... What's not to like?

26th January 2008 Cheaper than the $2 shop can it be possible ? Yes indeedy at "Geoffs" Check out their fabulous Party & Fantasy dressups/masks kids stuff for all tastes and purse friendly shopping. What a treasure trove. Hours go by & still we are in there shopping shopping shopping,
& sooo cheap! what a great shop reminds me of The Little Shop of Horrors. One keeps expecting the unusual staff to break into song ! All of them look like, maybe they live there & just come alive to serve the customers, especially the cute girl with the blue hair, what a funky babe, sell it to me honey ! If you 're really lucky you'll get to met the famous Geoff of the store's title.
A veritable Patriarch & well respected for his brusque generosity to local charities & schools.
Many locals have benefited from his kindness, from giving stuff away to employing local no hopers & giving them a chance.Geoff's da man. Don Mcglashen, of Muttobird fame most certainly visited the Emporium when he wrote Halfwayhouse Down Dominion Rd.Colourful locals complete the Geoff's phenomenom. It's a real scene, man what a groove. Attention Artists -very reasonable Canvas and Art supplies. Fabric to die for & again bargains galore. "Geoff's is a true Auckland Icon has been in the 'hood for over 30 years. Flat dwellers & nouveau poor will get it & get for nix at the iconic Geoffs. Saturday's a bit of a "Spot the Celebrity", shopping & schmoozing with their lastest hook up or just hangin' out at Geoffs . The occassional staff drama has held many enthralled, customer participation optional. They like to let it all hang out at Geoff's .
but they close, Saturdays at 3pm, so make sure you get up on time for a Big day out at Geoffs & have a top coffee at Pandoros or for the sugar challenged one of 'Goria Jeans" concoctions, right next door or if you are really thirsty, try the authentic Irish pub next door-great food.
