Hapuku Lodge & Tree Houses, Kaikoura, is distinctive luxury accommodation in one of the most spectacular settings in New Zealand, nestled between the Kaikoura Seaward Mountain Range and famed Mangamaunu Bay on a deer farm and olive grove. The lodge features a selection of luxury accommodation including spacious lodge rooms, designer Tree Houses and an apartment; all enjoy views and serenity of the stunning landscape.
The contemporary lodge rooms feature views framed through double-glazed European tilt-swing windows custom-crafted furnishings, ultra-comfortable beds, bathrooms with heated floors and rain fountain showerheads.
Opened in 2006, the Tree Houses are truly unique, elevated amongst the branches of Manuka trees they were designed to compliment their surrounding environment. Constructed with copper cladding, native timbers and interior design which seeks to welcome the nature inside, they are appointed with large spa baths, ultra-efficient fireplaces and all the comfort touches of a lodge king room,. Two Tree Houses feature 2nd-level bedrooms, for families or two couples travelling together.
The Olive House, our luxury apartment is self-contained above the olive mill, with 360 degree views, contemporary and spacious living room, full kitchen, fireplace, laundry and spa bath.
Dining at Hapuku Lodge is focused on fresh local produce, featuring seafood including Crayfish (rock-lobster), venison and seasonal organic ingredients. For lodge and Tree House guests a generous continental breakfast is served each morning in the lodge.
